Day 6 - Thursday

Thursday's Quotes:

"Today was a good day, we got 6 extra hours of sleep. The best part of the day was going whitewater rafting. Had a very good time with my friends on the water, and I’m glad we all made it home safe."

"This morning, we took down our shelter/tent because we are switching camp sites. After breakfast we got to go whitewater rafting. Once we got there we rode two level 5 rapids. Two of the people in our raft fell out. Then we just slept on the way to our new campsite."

"This morning we packed up camp very early, and had a small breakfast. Then we headed off to West Virginia. We got there safely, we picked our raft partners and headed out for the rapids. It was really fun, we got off the boat around 3:30. We had some lunch and headed back to camp Olmstead. We got back to Olmstead at about 7 and had supper."

"Today, we had a long ride up to our whitewater outfitter. Then we got our equipment and got on another bus. Once in the river, we had a lot of fun. I was ready to eat lunch when we got out of the river at 3:30."

"Today we woke up really early, it was still dark outside. We put down the tarp. Then we went to breafest. It was pretty good. Then we went on a long trip to whitewater rafting place. Whitewater rafting was pretty fun. When we got done we rode to bus back to the rafting place. And had lunch. We got back on the bus. And took a long bus ride back to Olmsead."

"This morning I had to wake up early, pack my gear up, and help take down the tent.  After waiting for the other buses to give the command to move out, we started our long trip to go whitewater rafting.  We arrived three hours later and started rafting.  Rafting is awesome and I had a fun time swimming in the rapids and riding the raft down the river.  When we finished rafting we had to ride three more hours to go back to Goshen scout camp.  Tomorrow we have to work some more and then we will finally be finished with our work."

"After taking down camp, we hit the road to go towards our rafting destination. When we got there, we got our equipment and left for the river. While on the river, we got to go over rapids ranging from Class 1 to Class 5. Even though some of us fell overboard, we all had a lot of fun. Afterwards, we came back to Camp Olmstead for the rest of the week."

"Today, we got up and took down our camp. Then we ate breakfast and went whitewater rafting. After that we came back to camp Goshen."
