Equipment List

The following list will give you an idea of the basic items that are needed for a Lodge Weekend (Whether it's for Spring Fellowship, Fall Fellowship, an Induction Weekend or the Section Conclave). Naturally, the clothing list would change based on the weather forecast! Thus, a Scout should be prepared for rain or cold. (Isn't that the Scout Motto?)

  • Personal Tent (Can be shared with a buddy)
  • Plastic Ground Sheet for the Tent (4 X 8 feet is a good size)
  • Sleeping Bag (Extra blankets if needed)
  • Foam Sleeping Pad or a Therm-a-Rest
  • Small Pillow
  • Class A Uniform (Shirt, Pants, Socks, and Belt)
  • Flashlight
  • Water Bottle
  • Rain Gear or Poncho
  • Personal Hygiene Kit (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap, Shampoo, Deodorant, Comb, etc)
  • Towel & Washcloth (Showers are available in the warmer months)
  • Personal Hygiene Kit (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap, Shampoo, Deodorant, Comb, etc)
  • Extra Dry Clothes (T-Shirts, Pants, Socks, Underwear, Sweatshirts, etc)

All this can either be packed in a soft-sided duffel bag, a soft-sided suitcase, or a backpack. Typically, the campsites are not that far from the parking area.
