The Honor Chapter system has been created to promote competition between the Chapters and to reward them for being active. The Chapter that meets the appropriate criteria by the end of the year will be recognized at the Lodge Banquet at Fall Fellowship.
- The Chapter Chief or his representative attend all Lodge Executive Committee Meetings
- The Chapter Chief or Vice-Chief must be at all New Member Orientations
- Each Chapter must have at least three Elangomats at each Ordeal
- Each Chapter must have a representative in the Call Out Ceremony at Scout Camp (If they have a member there)
- Each Chapter must have at least two Chapter work days
- Each Chapter must have at least four Chapter meetings
- Each Chapter must help at a Fellowship event
- Each Chapter must have a Fellowship Quest team
- Each Chapter must have at least two Unit Election teams
- Each Chapter must conduct or visit 75% of the troops in your District for Camp Promotions/Unit Elections
- Each Chapter must have at least 25% of its membership at each Lodge function (Except ECM's)
- Each Chapter must have inducted 30% of its eligible Ordeal members into the Brotherhood
- Each Chapter must have at least 25 members on the Lodge Conclave delegation
- Each Chapter must increase its membership over the previous year's amount
- Each Chapter must have an average of 20% of its members at each Chapter meeting
- Each Chapter must have at least one Ceremony team
Notes:
- There may be more than one Honor Chapter
- The term starts at Fall fellowship of the previous year and runs to the next Fall Fellowship
- In order to become an Honor Chapter, the Chapter must complete 12 of the above requirements
- In order to become a Merit Chapter, the Chapter must complete 9 of the above requirements
